For Jacob’s Ladder, a home in Jamaica for more than 90 adults with physical and mental disabilities, INMED’s aquaponics system is more than just an innovative gardening project. It represents a stable source of nutrition that can withstand droughts and natural disasters. It takes a small amount of space, uses a fraction of the water required of traditional farming methods and yields enough fish and produce to not only reliably feed this Mustard Seed Community but enough of a surplus to sell for additional income.
